This is a compelling argument for legalizing cannabis. Would these people then want to prohibit alcohol? This kind of attack argument demonizes one intoxicant in favor of another and might backfire with both substances facing legal restrictions., like in the Muslim world....
Alcohol is already heavily taxed and the various governments in North America see cannabis as another potential "cash cow" if it were to be legalized and taxed.
